This installation of ink drawing and writing was nailed to a gate in Stonehouse, Plymouth, during the first Plymouth Art Weekender.

Kandinsky's time spent with indigenous peoples in North Western Russia explored a myth that the stars are nailed to the sky, as the dreams and stories were nailed to the gate.

The pieces created combined real childhood memories rewritten as fairy tales and remembered childhood books written as fact, with accompanying illustrations. An exploration of gaslighting and the reinterpretation of traumatic events by abusers.

The work was left open to public interaction, with the intention to document graffiti, damage or comments. This ended abruptly when all the original drawings were stolen on the second day.
